TRAVEL WITH GRANT TO

ISTANBUL

An awe-inspiring city with incredible architecture, delicious food, and warm people

“If one had but a single glance to give the world, one should gaze on Istanbul.”
Alphonse de Lamartine

Istanbul, what can I say? I visited this magical city for the first time over ten years ago and fell in love with its mix of old and new, the traditional and the modern.

Istanbul is beyond incredible, making it one of the most inspiring cities I’ve been to so far, and I can’t wait to explore this eclectic and hospitable city with you.

Our week will be focused on a balance of history, breathtaking architecture, delicious food, and, of course, some fabulous shopping. The largest city in Turkey, Istanbul, formerly known as Constantinople, is a unique city that sits on two continents, both in Europe and Asia, divided by the Bosphorus, the capital of both the Byzantine Empire and the Ottoman Empire. It is the third largest European city in size, and nowhere is the juxtaposition between old and new, East and West, more intoxicating.
